Este tatuaje es un carrito de supermercado que tiene recicle. Acá hay mucho recicle porque existe la feria. La feria es muy hermosa acá en Chile.
Yo vivía en una casa donde salíamos a reciclar con un carrito de supermercado, a juntar todas las verduras y frutas que los feriantes no se llevaban. El carrito de recicle significa muchas cosas: el poder reciclar, recuperar, reutilizar las cosas. A veces uno consume no más y deja tirado, tan así que hasta los sentimientos son de esa misma manera. Entonces uno no reutiliza ni recicla lo que siente, sino que lo bota directamente.
El tatuaje representa muchas cosas y un momento de mi vida en cual fue muy lindo. Aprendí mucho sobre de que no todo está tirado, no todo está perdido, que uno puede reutilizar las cosas. Uno tiende a utilizarlas y no encontrarles otro fin. Son como las relaciones humanas a veces—uno utiliza a las personas.

I lived in a house where we went out to recycle with a supermarket cart, to gather all the vegetables and fruits that the merchants didn’t take with them. The recycling cart means many things: the ability to recycle, recover, reuse things. Sometimes one just consumes and throws away, so much so that even feelings are the same way. So you don’t reuse or recycle what you feel, but rather you throw it out directly.
The tattoo represents many things and a time in my life which was very nice. I learned a lot about that not everything is thrown away, not everything is lost, that one can reuse things. One tends to use things and not find other ends for them. They’re like human relationships sometimes—one uses people.
